If you are looking for a rental in Honolulu, we can send you updates and email alerts of
all the least expensive to average priced rentals in the better areas of central/metro
Honolulu (Nuuanu to Kahala), without furniture. These will be mostly studios and 1 br's.
Most clients find a place within 2 weeks service.
If you don’t feel this is much better than the way you are looking for rentals now, cancel
anytime within the first 3 days of your subscription and we will gladly refund your fee.

For $19.99, Rental Finders will:
- Monitor and send you all the newest listings (a week of updates and email
alerts). You should not have much of a problem finding a rental if you follow our
recommendations and suggestions in the “Guide to Renting an Apartment or House
in Hawaii ”, & the “Rental Checklist”. We'll do a comprehensive search and start
sending your customized lists.
- Do all the research for you. This is especially suited for people who don’t have
the time to do phone calls, and/or go out and look at a lot of properties. No need
to waste time, effort, hours, and days. Our professional locators know exactly what
you are looking for so you don't miss anything. We do a comprehensive search for
rentals that meet your specific needs, get all the information, then we send your
own customized list of currently available and newly listed rental properties
(nothing over 3 days old).
- Send you photos. You can’t determine very much from a regular newspaper rental
listing. We go out to look at these places for you, get on-site information, and take
digital photos of buildings & complexes to provide when available. We'll let you know
about shops and restaurants in the area, closest supermarkets, closest parks, places
of interest, things you should know about the area, etc. It's the next best thing to
driving out there yourself. We provide in depth descriptions with details that you are
unlikely to find anywhere else.
- Get you locations, addresses, etc. We'll call the property managers or landlords
for you to find out when and where the rentals are to be shown (whenever possible),
addresses, approximate size of a typical unit, security features, info on washer
dryers in the unit or on the premises, parking conditions, amenities, etc. not listed in
their ads. We provide information on these rentals seldom included with standard
listings. We can accopmlish in one daily update what would normally take you
counless hours and days to do on your own (pouring over ads, calling landlords, and
driving out to see every listing).
- Provide insider rental Information on preparing your rental application and
documentation to stand out from everyone else’s and give you your best chance at
securing a suitable rental. We'll let you know what property managers are looking
for when they screen apps and what to say and do at an open house/rental showing.
We will also provide the Rental Application Checklist, the "Guide to Renting an
Apartment or House in Hawaii", as well as details on how best to get a letter of
reference from your current and former landlords or property managers (there's a
trick to getting them to do this as quickly as possible), the best locations, the 10
most common mistakes to avoid, information on leases, current rental prices, better
alternatives to wasting your money on furnished rentals, etc. Everything you need
to find a rental quickly and easily.
- Email support to answer any and all questions you may have about rental procedures,
Hawaii Landlord-Tenant laws, deposits, leases, what to do if you have bad credit, best

- Rental application & document prep. $49.99 Applying for a rental is like a job
application. For a more professional look, we can prepare your rental application and
pre qualify you for a rental. This will make your app stand out from everyone else’s
and give you your best chance at securing the best rental that fits your needs,
making the application process faster, easier, and less frustrating. We will do all of
your paperwork and documentation so that you will have a presentation packet that
includes everything landlords are looking for when they screen applications.
Submitting this when applying for rentals show property managers and landlords
that you are responsible, reliable, prepared, organized, and the kind of tenant they
are looking for. Saves a lot of time, energy, and makes applying for rentals much,
much easier. $49.99 document preparation fee includes Tenant Check, credit report
, obtaining letters of references from current and former landlords, income
verification from your employer, etc. You should at least have decent credit and
decent rental history before signing up for this service.
- VIP Service. $250. If you would like someone to house hunt for you, we can do all
the work to find you a rental in your price range within 10-20 min from work or
school (or anywhere else you would like to live). You would need to complete a rental
application, get pre qualified, and we will do all the rest. Of course you will need to
approve the rental before signing the rental agreement. Because it will take several
hours each day to do your search and call property managers and home owners (we
estimate at least a total of 10-15 hours), prepare your rental application and
documentation (credit check, background check, income and employment verification,
rental history, etc.), the cost, at an average of $20 an hour, is $250. However, if
you change your mind, decide not to take the rental, find someplace else on your
own, or if you are not satisfied with our service, you are entitled to a $200 refund
(minimum $49.99 to do your pre qualification and rental application documentation
prep). You should have good rental history and rental references from your current
and former landlords, decent credit for at least the past 3 years, and be employed
with a combined total household income of 3 times the amount of the rent (if rent
is $1000, then the combined total income of everyone living in the unit should be
$3000). If your pre approval does not go through, we will refund you $200 and will
not be able to complete your search. We will also send you all the documentation,
credit checks, etc. that we worked on so you can see what you need to improve on
in order to get the rental you are looking for.
Landlords and Owners of Rental Properties:
- Landord/Owner Tenant Finder Service. $350 flat fee.
We charge a flat fee of $350 to find tenants for landlords. We set up
and layout the advertising and photos (no extra charge), update and
monitor the advertising weekly, take all the phone calls, set up
appointments for them to see the place, screen and qualify
applications (Tenant Check, employment and income verification, credit
reports, rental history, check references with previous landlords,
criminal history, court records, etc.) and let you know the top three
so you can meet them and decide which ones you would like to rent to.
We will then complete all the necessary documentation and paper work
(lease agreement, addendum to lease agreement/House Rules, provide and
Inventory and Conditions Report, and any other documentation required
(Pet Addendum, Co-Signer Guarantor, Special Conditions, etc.).
Please contact us if your unit is less than $1000. We will come out
and take a look at your rental, let you know how much we think it
should go for, and let you know the fee to find a tenant for your unit
(which will be less to much less than the standard fee).
- Rental Applicant Background Check. $20 for each application. If you would like
to rent your unit out yourself, we can provide the background checks for each
application (credit check, employment verification, check history of complaints from
previous landlords with TenantCheck, check rental history, check Hawaii criminal
history, etc.). We'll provide you with our standard Rental Application for prospective
tenants to fill out.
- Rental Lease Documents and Paperwork. $25. If you would like to rent your unit
out yourself, we can complete all necessary paperwork for you. We will fill out the
Rental Lease documents and paperwork for you to protect yourself and your property
and provide you with an Inventory and Conditions Report (recommended) to notate
the condition
of your unit before your new tenant moves in. This service includes
completing the
Rental Lease Agreement, the Addendum to the Rental Lease
Agreement (where you
list your house rules or special conditions of your lease like
"no smoking", etc.) or our
standard Addendum to the Rental Lease Agreement
(carefully compiled and revised
after years of experience in the rental market).
